The Albany Pine Bush Preserve covers 3,000 acres of rare, inland pine barrens within the New York State Capitol Region. This new free-standing bathroom is located adjacent to the Preserve’s Discovery Center, which is designed to LEED Silver standards.

The bathroom is intended for trail users and for use during the Center’s off-hours.

Two Foam-flush toilet fixtures are associated with one large composting unit.

It will be highlighted in the Preserve’s school tours.
