The Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries flagship facility has 2 commercial-sized compost systems in conjunction with 3 foam-flush toilets that serve staff and visitors.

The LEED registered, 4,000 square foot former brick factory hosts the Rivers and Estuaries Observatory Network’s river observatory.

Since 1973 Clivus Multrum has been the industry leader in composting toilets and greywater technologies.
